SNOOP DOGG LAUNCHES WEED ENCYCLOPEDIA & CONTENT PLATFORM "MERRY JANE"

Big news from Team Snoop Dogg -- the rap
legend is launching MerryJane.com , a lifestyle
website that will serve as a sort of information
center for all things cannabis and produce
weed-centric video and editorial content. It
was only a matter of time.
Co-founded by entrepreneur Ted Chung, the
site plans to partner with celebrities like Seth
Rogen and Miley Cyrus.
"There are few companies out there that have
attempted to enter into the marketplace," said
Chung. "Their download apps total and page
views total are really numbers that we’re going
to crush within the first six months. I think the
interest level and the demand is there."
Merry Jane will go live in October. Until then,
420 beta users will be given access every day.
“We’re providing the industry with something
that’s void right now,” Snoop said , speaking
at Tech Crunch Disrupt. “We are the
information hotline for cannabis. We are
what’s missing.”
