Adele is a popular sample choice these days.
With her new album slated for release later this
month, Adele's name is on the tip of
everybody's tongue. 25 , the third and final
album of the singer-songwriter's 'age' series,
will be released on November 20th via XL
Recordings (and Columbia in the United
States). The record will follow up 2011's 21 .
Adele's records sell big time, so much so that
the likes of Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding and
One Direction have allegedly moved their
release dates to avoid confliction with the
highly anticipated record. In addition to selling
big, the records also provide a goldmine of
poppy samples for hip hop producers to mess
around with. Such was the case for her last
couple records, of which we're going to revisit
today.
