Jerry Heller is suing everybody involved in "Straight Outta Compton" for a huge sum. Jerry Heller, the former manager of N.W.A., is suing all those involved in the group's recent biopic, Straight Outta Compton, for (at least) $110 million, reports TMZ . Heller, now 75, has just filed a lawsuit against Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, the estate of Eazy-E, NBC Universal, and others for defamation and using his likeness in their film without his permission. Heller claims that Straight Outta Compton wrongly portrayed him as "a sleazy manager who took advantage of Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, and Ice Cube." He said that the movie lied about numerous different scenarios involving him, including him withholding a $75,000 check from Ice Cube, persuading Dre and Cube to sign misleading contracts, and getting fired by Eazy-E. Lil Wayne was spotted in the studio recording over Drake’s “Back To Back" recently. It looks like Lil Wayne is prepping up some new material for us. In a recent Snapchat recorded by Young Money artist Stephanie Acevedo, Weezy was spotted in the studio recording a remix to his labelmate Drake’s hit record “Back To Back." Only 7 seconds long, the clip, which was quickly uploaded to Youtube, finds Tune in the booth spittin’ over Drizzy’s infectious Meek diss. He briefly raps “… in a glass jar/ Then drop it off to your kids classroom/ dirt bags who belong in vacuum.” Don't ask what that means though. Hopefully this clip is indication that a new mixtape from Tune could be in the works. On Tuesday morning, X got arrested at his home in Westchester County, New York on a contempt of court charge for allegedly failing to pay $10,000 a month in child support to his ex-wife Tashera Simmons. According to TMZ, X appeared in court on Tuesday afternoon and begged the judge to let him out of jail because he’d be losing the opportunity to make money from scheduled shows, which ultimately would create a bad rep for his name. The judge apparently had mercy for the former Ruff Ryder and released him without bail. Rihanna has a role in an upcoming sci-fi flick, "Valerian." After testing the waters with her role in 2012's film "Battleship," Rihanna will be making her return to the big screen as part of the sci-fi flick "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets." The director of the movie, Luc Besson, shared the news via Instagram today. "RIHANNA is in VALERIAN!!!!! ....and she has a big part!! I'm Sooo excited!!!," he wrote. The Government is proposing a ban on imported second had clothes popularly known as 'Mitumba' in Kenya. According to the Principal Secretary Wilson Songa the ban is expected to herald immense benefits for the country including eliminating what he termed as "health risks" associated with the imported used clothes and protect local textile and leather industries. Drake is kept out of the number one spot for another week. After the endless outpouring of memes following Drake's "Hotline Bling" video, it seemed certain that Drake would finally have his first number single on the Hot 100. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, as Billboard has announced that The Weeknd's "The Hills" will take the top spot once again. The deciding factor came with the streaming platform. Had "Hotline Bling" been released on VEVO rather than Apple Music, the streams of the video would have been counted towards its chart placement. Unfortunately, Apple does not report its video streams to Nielsen Soundscan at this time. With Adele's new single released this week, it seems that Drake may have missed his chance at number one entirely. Perhaps signing on with Apple Music does have its disadvantages after all.
