Drake Takes Shots At Meek Mill On "Truffle Butter" At Austin City Limits
Austin City Limits.
Those lucky enough to be at Austin City
Limits last night (Oct. 3) got to see Drake
bring out Future to perform tracks off their
recent joint album, What a Time to Be Alive ,
live for the first time. During Drake's solo set,
though, he turned his attention to Meek Mill,
as he has been wont to do recently. If we're
going off the number of sly shots taken since
the diss tracks, Drake has definitely been
keeping the beef alive more so than Meek.
Drizzy's latest jab came when he performed
his verse off "Truffle Butter," his collab with
Nicki Minaj, who is, of course, his rival's
girlfriend.
He closed the song by rapping, "They all get
what they desire from it / Austin, tell that
n*gga I ain't hiding from him." He slightly
switched the closing line of the original (tell
them n*ggas we ain't hiding from it) to
implicate Meek.
Drake still at it... "Tell that nigga I
ain't hiding from him"

For those still keeping track, this is a minor
event in the Meek vs. Drake timeline, but it's
telling that Drake took the shot while he was in
Austin, as Meek has also recently been in
Texas -- working with the Sauce Twinz in
Houston. One of the Sauce Twinz, Sauce
Walka, happens to be the last rapper to drop a
Drizzy diss track, last month's " Wack 2
Wack ."
Do Drake's words at ACL signal that he's
ready for whatever Meek and the Sauce Twinz
are cooking up? courtesy of hotnewhiphop.com
